Soft Tissue Therapy

Soft Tissue Therapy (Remedial Massage) is the skilled manipulation of soft tissue for the relief and treatment of muscle soreness and pain. It is the maintenance of muscle balance and the enhanced rehabilitation from injury as it can normalise restriction and reduce pain. If there is a irritation caused by soft tissue including muscle, ligament, tendon or joint, a combination of techniques including deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release, cross fibre techniques and stretching are utilised to achieve the most effective and quickest results possible for each client. Soft Tissue work can be conducted from the clinic located in Hawker (ACT), or alternatively I provide a mobile service around Canberra.

Exercise Therapy

Accelr8 Rehab are experts in both soft tissue therapy and exercise. It is possible to take clients from an acute injury right through to return to daily life and sports activity. I find that clients are often frustrated either by injuries that reoccur or never fully go away, so by combining expertise in exercise together with a scientific approach to soft tissue therapy I aim to help people with all types of injury. Specific training can be conducted from various gyms located in Belconnen (ACT), or alternatively I provide a mobile service around Canberra.
